The book has been written in a simplified manner. It covers 102 common pediatric signs and symptoms. Each sign and symptom is elaborated methodologically. It starts with a short introduction which includes the meaning of sign and symptom, prevalence in practice, common points to be covered during collecting information from parents, analysis of data and probable etiology. Common causes for each sign and symptom are enlisted. They are arranged in the sequence of seeing on the practice to highlight their clinical importance and not grouped as system wise. The most common causes are kept first, then less common and rare ones at the last. Very rare causes are not included in the list to maintain the interest of the reader and to avoid undue length of the manuscript.
